Kazim Ali

Kazim Ali's books include volumes of poetry, fiction, essays, and cross-genre work. He has edited volumes on the work of Jean Valentine, Agha Shahid Ali, and Shreela Ray. His most recent volumes are a book-length study of the work of Lucille Clifton, and a novel, Indian Winter. In 2004 he founded the small press Nightboat Books, and is currently a professor of Comparative Literature and Literary Arts at the University of California, San Diego.
